SS16 Trends: Primary.
I'm slowly easing into color these days, and what better way than to start with the basics. I feel like I learned about primary colors in kindergarten or some shit and never really thought about them again, but bright hits of red, yellow, and blue have been all over the runways as of late and I'm starting to vibe with it. It's got this comic book character/pop art vibe that feels really new. I've already told you how red is making an it-kid case for cool at the moment, but let's not leave out yellow and bright blues. Both are giving you fresh to death ways to ditch the norm. Still a little scared? It's cool, try one piece of red, yellow, or blue and rock the rest in all black or all white. That's how you get noticed in New York.
What it's about: Bold primary colors seen mainly on outerwear and accessories set against all white or black. Pop art and comic book influences with clean, minimal fit and design.
