FW17 Trends: Puffed Up Parkas.
Okay it's not just parkas, but honestly that's a great place to start. So maybe you didn't cop that big ass shiny puffer coat from Raf Simons last fall. That's okay. That thing was as expensive as it was impossible to wear. Look, I'm all about a big ass shiny puffer coat, but I'm also all about fitting on a crowded subway when I got places to be and it's cold af outside. The solve? Slightly less big ass puffer coat parka (shiny optional). The thing that's killer about a puffer coat (besides the obvious benefits of not freezing your ass off) is it doesn't really matter what else you wear. This is why I have a coat obsession, people. They're like instant outfits. You got some sick outerwear happening- it doesn't really matter what else you've got going on. What happens when you get inside and take it off? I don't know. I can't do everything for you. But peep the moodboard and picks from Urban Outfitters below. You're welcome.
What it's about: Wearing outerwear like it's a sleeping bag and keeping everything else as simple as possible.
