FW15 Trends: 70s Rock.
I feel like I wake up every day having the same dilemma that men’s fashion is having right now: do I go full on 70s or full on 90s? If I had to pick a current winner, I’d say 90s is killing it and flying by in its L.A. Gear light-ups giving 70s the bird while wearing everything backwards cause I DON’T KNOW, I CAN’T EXPLAIN IT ALL, CLARRISA. But you also can’t discount that the 70s rocker swag moody French vibe a la Hedi Slimane is pretty much the coolest of the cool. There's something about putting on the tightest pants known to man, some pointy ass shoes, and a touch of leopard and fringe that really gets the message of "IDGAF" across. And I can get down with that. Here’s a thought: save the 90s for the daytime when you're rolling out of bed for class or picking up a game of bball and keep the 70s thing for nightlife. That way when you have to squeeze into those tight ass pants, it won’t matter cause all you’re doing is leaning against a wall, sipping a drink, and looking totally unaffected. Am I a genius or what? Don't say what.
What it's about: Rocker glam with moody, dark colors. This is your party scene look at an underground club at an undisclosed address. Be sure to keep the pants tight, the jackets furry, and the fucks left at the door.
